• Do not click on URLs linked in suspicious emails or SMS messages. Make sure to verify the information by accessing the official website instead
  Even if you receive an email or SMS message claiming to be from Mercari or Buyee, do not open any links in the email. Even if the message contains information on campaigns or other promotions, or worrying information such as warnings on usage restrictions, please verify the information on Mercari’s official app or access the official website via bookmarks or search engines.
• Delete any suspicious emails or SMS messages without opening
  If there is anything suspicious about the message subject or sender address, please delete the message without opening it.
• Do not provide any personal information to websites linked from suspicious emails or SMS messages
