After an item is purchased, the seller ships it to Mercari’s designated domestic warehouse in Japan.
From Mercari’s warehouse, the item is delivered to the buyer’s address using the shipping method selected by the buyer.
*It is not possible for you to choose the shipping method that the seller uses to send the item to Mercari's warehouse.
As a rule, sellers must ship the item within 7 days from the purchase date.

There are two shipping options available for international delivery.
- EMS
- Mercari Global Shipping
*Mercari Global Shipping may not be available in some countries/regions in the following cases.- Items valued over 200,000 JPY
- Packages containing any food items (including vitamins & dietary supplements and pet food), beverages, or alcoholic beverages
- Packages containing batteries or power tools
- Packages containing medical supplies, medical equipment, or sanitary products
- Packages exceeding the courier’s size restrictions
International shipping fees and customs duties vary depending on the size and weight of the purchased item, as well as the destination country or region.

You can check the international shipping fee on the purchase screen.
Even if the package size differs from the estimated size after packing, there will be no additional charges to the customer. - Customs Duties
Customs duties and import regulations vary depending on the laws of each country.
Please note that any customs duties or disbursement fees incurred will be the responsibility of the customer and may be collected upon delivery or pickup.

To use Mercari Global Shipping, you will need to complete registration on the EZ WAY app and carry out real-name authentication. Please follow the instructions below.
Customs brokers will send instructions for these procedures via SMS or email.
- If the initial delivery attempt fails and a redelivery is required, the redelivery fee will be charged as cash on delivery (COD).
- Items have a designated storage period. If the item is not collected within the specified time after redelivery instructions are sent, it may be discarded. In such cases, a disposal fee may be charged to the customer.
- If the item is not received or is discarded due to customer-related issues, it will not be eligible for cancellation or refund, and Mercari will not be held responsible.
- If the packaged item exceeds the size or weight limits of the selected shipping method, Mercari may change the shipping method or, in unavoidable cases, cancel the order.
