What to Do if You're Not Receiving Emails
If you are not receiving emails from Mercari Japan, please follow the instructions below.
- Turn off incoming message filters
- Check that the email address you registered to Mercari Japan is correct
Note: If you can’t currently sign in to Mercari Japan, please see Resend verification code/confirmation email.
You may have incoming message filters turned on in your email settings. Please turn the filters off.
- Blocking messages from spoofed numbers
- Blocking senders that fail domain authentication (SPF)
- Blocking emails from invalid domains
- Blocking unsolicited advertisements
- Blocking emails containing URLs
To add Mercari Japan to your allowed email domains list, please update the settings to allow the following domain.
- mercari.jp
- email.mercari.jp
Note: Please contact your email provider for details on how to change these settings.
Note: This step is for users who are already signed in to their Mercari Japan account. If you can’t sign in to Mercari Japan, please see Resend verification code/confirmation email.
You may not be able to receive emails from Mercari Japan because the email address you registered to Mercari Japan is incorrect.
Please access the below to check the email address you registered to Mercari Japan.
- My Account > User Settings > Email Address and Password > “Email address” field at the top of the screen
You can’t register an email address if any of the following apply. In that case, please provide another email address.
- There is a period directly in front of the @ symbol or at the start of your email address
- There are consecutive periods in front of the @ symbol
If your email address is incorrect:

If you can’t currently sign in to Mercari Japan, please try to sign in by checking the following.
After signing in, please confirm that the email address you registered to Mercari Japan is correct by checking the information Check that the email address you registered to Mercari Japan is correct.
