Below, you can find the procedure for deleting your personal information (Mercari account information, henceforth “account information”) and important notes to read over before doing so.
Please note that if you request to have your personal information (account information) deleted, your account will also be closed by Mercari.

1. Please read over the Important notes for contacting us.
2. Tap “Contact us” shown at the bottom of this guide.
   *If you have not yet closed your account, you will need to sign in before contacting our Help Center
3. Fill in the required information, then tap “Submit.”
4. We will review the contents of your inquiry and then delete your personal information (account information) if your case is one where personal information deletion is possible. If you have not already done so, we will also close your Mercari account.

If you request to delete your personal information (account information), your Mercari account will also be closed.

Please confirm the following before contacting us to delete your personal information (account information).

• Please provide the reason why you want to delete your personal information in the inquiry details field.
• The deletion process will delete your personal information (account information), settings, and other information such as transaction history.
• We cannot delete personal information when there is a valid reason to retain a user’s personal information (account information), or if we are required to retain a user’s personal information (account information) by law.
• Once your personal information (account information) has been deleted, it cannot be restored.
